Inequalities & Inclusion Symposium

Inequalities & Inclusion Graduate Symposium 11 May 2018

The Berkeley Interdisciplinary Migration Initiative (BIMI) and the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE) organized the BIMI & IRLE Graduate Student Lightning Talks Symposium: Inequalities & Inclusion. This event provides a platform for graduate students to present their research and practice their conference presentations before the start of the conference season, receive valuable feedback from experts in their field and connect with fellow graduate students from different disciplines.

The symposium was open to students working on projects that address inequality and inclusion through research on immigration or labor.

Event format:
Selected presenters were grouped in panels. Presenters will be limited to 10 minutes, to be followed by 20 minutes of feedback.
